I am an experienced counsellor who supports clients through a wide variety of issues. I believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the context in which healing and growth can – and will – take place. I will not claim to be an expert in your life, or offer advice.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked in an NHS GP practice, St Christopher’s Hospice, Family Counselling Services and Further/ Higher Education. I also offer training to counselling students. I have a clean Enhanced DBS. I hold a BSc in Psychology & Counselling. I also have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE. I have a British Psychological Society (BPS) Approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision Levels 1,2 & 3, a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Online/face 2 face Supervision, and am currently studying for my MSc Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health.
I deliver Level 6 Clinical Supervision Training to psychotherapists and counsellors.
I have personal experience of working with neurodivergence and offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults and their supporters.

I am a member of the Muslim Counsellors and Psychotherapists Network (MCAPN).
I am bilingual and can also offer counselling sessions in Arabic and offer Islamic approaches to psychology and psychological therapies online. I work in a faith-based and culturally-sensitive manner, and I am especially interested in spiritual issues, how we attach meaning to our lives and how our beliefs and faith impact the issues we face.
